We spent a week staying with Geraldine in this beautiful house in a lovely, peaceful village right by the sea. We loved waking up and eating breakfast in the lovely garden, taking walks along the sea-front and up to the waterfalls in the valley and exploring the village or Faial da Terra. It's also a great base for visiting the unspoilt eastern end of the island including Furnas, the beach and fish restaurants at Ribeira Quente and lovely walks around Nordeste. Geraldine was a very accommodating and helpful host and gave us baskets of fresh produce from her organic garden.
